We offer a FREE event planning consultation to all couples, individuals or companies who are interested in working with A Touch of Silk. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss how we can help you plan your dream day or your next fabulous event.

We organise and run a wide variety of different events including, company parties, corporate meetings, engagement parties, fashion and marketing events and wedding fairs. We can assist in a variety of different event services and can tailor any package to suit your specifications.

WEDDING PLANNING SERVICES

THE PURE SILK PACKAGE (Full wedding planning start to finish)

The Pure Silk package is for couples who know right from the very beginning that they are going to need some help during the wedding planning process, from start to finish. We will assist you with everything from sourcing the perfect venue, find the best suppliers for your day to coordinating your event on the day of. Regular meetings with you will be arranged, at your convenience, leading up to your wedding so we can advice on budget planning, payment schedules, supplier meetings and ‘To do’ lists. This package allows you to relax knowing all the little and large details are taken care of.

VENUE SOURCING

We understand how important finding the perfect venue is when planning your wedding so we are here to help. Based on your requirements for the venue we will search and find up to 5 suitable venues that could create for your dream day! We can arrange meetings with these venues to suit your schedule and even accompany you to the venue to help make sure the venue is right for you. If you solely want help sourcing a venue and no other service we charge a one-off fee for this package.

SUPPLIER SOURCING

Searching for the right supplier can be overwhelming. With our extensive contact list we can find the right suppliers to suit your event. We arrange meetings with our recommended suppliers, again we can attend if you so desire. Many suppliers we work with offer great rates to our clients so we can also save you some money in the process. If you feel you need a little extra assistance when it comes to your suppliers we will also manage them on your behalf sorting payments, contracts and timetables for the day of your event. Supplier sourcing is charged as a one-off fee (ranging in price depending on how many suppliers you want us to source) Management of the suppliers can be offered as a package price with the supplier sourcing/venue sourcing.

ON THE DAY CO-ORDINATION

If you have all of your wedding planning in hand but don’t want the worry of overseeing everything on your big day we also offer a service for coordinating your event. We meet with you approximately 4 – 6 weeks before your wedding to discuss your day and for your to provide us with your suppliers information. From there we contact your suppliers, arrange schedules, visit your venue, collect any items from you that need setting up on the day of and creating detailed timetables for everyone involved. We will be there from the very beginning to near the end of your event, generally when all the major events of the day are over. This package is charge as a one-off fee.

ADVICE AND GUIDANCE

Some couples mostly have everything in hand when planning their wedding but need some extra guidance and advice. I offer a service where I can meet with you as often as you need and providing help with budget planning, timetabling, going through contracts, advising on themes, colours, invitations etc. This service is charged at an hourly rate. You can have as many or as little consultations as you need.

OTHER EVENT SERVICES

EVENT MANAGEMENT (Full planning start to finish)

Want to host an event but don’t know where to start? Or you have all your ideas together but need someone to make them come to life. A Touch of Silk can help you, regardless of what your event is. We can help source the correct venue, the best suppliers, organise budgets and payments and run the event for you from start to finish. We can discuss your requirements in a FREE consultation to determine how your event will run. Regular meetings with you will be arranged, at your convenience, leading up to your event so we can advice on budget planning, payment schedules, supplier meetings and ‘To do’ lists if required. We are available with unlimited phone and email assistance 7 days a week to ensure your event runs smoothly. Event management services can be applied to any event you wish to host – no job is to big or too small for us to assist you.

WEDDING FAIR ORGANISATION

A Touch of Silk organises two annual wedding fairs for a Macclesfield based venue every year beginning in 2014. This venue had never held a wedding related event before and needed a company to produce an event that would drive foot fall through their doors. Are you a venue that wants to branch out into the wedding industry or want to increase local people’s awareness of your business? A Touch of Silk can organise a show/fair on your behalf to showcase your venue in any way you wish. We can assist in the sourcing of suppliers, organising all paperwork and payments, assist in the promotion of the event and offer advise on what marketing works best and general running of the event on the day. INVITATION AND STATIONERY DESIGN

Although not a stationer by trade, A Touch of Silk can design your wedding invitations according to your brief. Designs can be digital or hand drawn with your theme in mind. Previous designs available on request.

ON THE DAY CO-ORDINATION

If you have your event in place and organised, whatever that may be, A Touch of Silk can assist in the on the day running on the day in question. We can coordinate guests/delegates, assist in the registration process, liaise with the venue staff regarding catering and other requirements, oversee or facilitate in the room and table set up and any other general coordination. We will meet with you approximately 4 – 6 weeks before your event to discuss your day. You will supply us with a full brief and a list of your contacts and suppliers. From there we can make contact with anyone involved in the event to ensure that everything is in place for you in the run up to the event day. We can also arrange schedules, visit your venue, collect any items from you that need setting up on the day of and creating detailed timetables for everyone involved if required. We will be there from the very beginning to the end of your event. This package is charge as a one-off fee.

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANCE

Having studied marketing and promotion at degree level, A Touch of Silk has vast experience in working with online promotion and social media. Do you want your company to branch out and get online? We can assist in the setting up of all social media platforms, running these pages for any period of time, providing you with frequent reports and drive traffic to your website. This service is not limited, we can assist in a wide range of social media elements to help develop your business. Prices available on request and this is charged at an hourly rate.
